At P.Cresswell builders we take training very seriously. All of our team are qualified in their particular field to City & Guilds Advanced Level. Very often when you hire a building company it can be difficult to assess whether they have the experience and credentials to complete a job to the high specifications it needs. We are here to give peace of mind in knowing we are all time served and qualified. We never use unqualified tradesmen on any of our jobs and all members of the team have been vetted and trained to comply with our standards. In addition to this we always invest in re-training and keep up to date with new techniques within our industry.

Health & Safety

Everyone controlling site work has health and safety responsibilities. Checking that working conditions are healthy and safe before work begins, and ensuring that the proposed work is not going to put others at risk, require planning and organisation. This applies whatever the size of the site. P.Cresswell builders ensure strict building regulations are adhered to. 

The new Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 aim to help you ensure that your construction project is safe to build, safe to use, safe to maintain and delivers good value by:

· helping you to reduce bureaucracy and paperwork – making the focus planning and management, rather than the plan and other paperwork

· simplifying the Regulations to improve clarity – so making it easier for duty holders to know what is expected of them

· encouraging more integration – strengthening the requirements regarding co-ordination and co-operation, particularly between designers and contractors

· simplifying the assessment of competence (both for organisations and individuals) to help raise standards and reduce bureaucracy; and maximising their flexibility – to fit with the vast range of contractual arrangements.
